8 Months Later…Hairstyles for Short, Budding Locs

Hey, Lockies! I am officially in the 8th month of my hair being loc'd, and let's just say there have been so many changes! For starters, I'm noticing that my hair is hanging or dropping just a little bit longer! I mean the shrinkage is still there, but there is definitely some hang time! And for this reason, I've been experimenting with different styles outside of my go-to, sunglasses as a headband look 😆! I mean I love this look, but I would like to continue to explore different loc styles since it's not always appropiate or fashionable to wear sunglasses on top of your head, depending on the event! Here are a few pictures of me experimenting with different loc styles!

I wear my sunglasses everywhere mercilessly! But, they are just never on my eyes--always on my head! I'm getting bolder though! 👌🏾

Hat and Loc Jewelry and Curls

Sometimes, I roll the ends of my hair with pipe cleaners. Add a few jewels and go on my merry way! And, don't forget the hat! I received so many compliments at my cousin's baby shower and won the 1st gift! 🥰

👑 A Queen shall wear her crown! This was my birthday look I had side swept bands, two *pushed up--not pinned up back pony-tails, and a crown! It was giving Goddess! And I definitely felt like the queen I was!
